Welcome to my website!

I started out completing a family tree that my grandmother had began years ago and this is what has grown from there. Just a few of the names in my tree are:
Snelgrove, Frizzell, Rikley, Dafoe, Sidenius, Wicklund, Crosbie, Meeks and DeShane. On my husband's side there is: Barr, Galbraith, Paul, Rankin, Ferguson, Dafoe, Smith and many more. Many of our ancestors came to Ontario, Canada as United Empire Loyalists; Scottish immigrants to Lanark area; or from England in the mid 1800's. The majority of my information did come from family papers, bibles etc. but I have received further data from other sources and I thank them for all of their help. Special thanks to Myrtle (Frizzell) Windover, Mary Wallace, Carol Steele, Herbert Frizzell, Helen Meeks, Betsy Stuerke, Jerre Chumley, Pat Thompson, Nancy Owston, Rory Griffith, Lynne Rooney,Peggy Briscoe, Margaret Paul-Banner, Mary Wallace, Arnold Weirmeir, Michael Coe and all of the kind individuals who answered my queries on Rootsweb/Genforum. I could not have accomplished so much, in such a short amount of time, without your generous help and support.
Other family information is from The Ketcheson Family, Crosbie Family Tree by Julia (Crosbie)James, Jim Benedict`s site at:
http://www.genealowiki.com/bin/view.cgi/Dafoe/JohnErnstDafoe1726, another wonderful site at www.fizell.org and Meeks Inheritance with Loyalist Connections by Gwen M. Smith. Please note that NOT all information has been verified so if you have any additions/corrections
 please let me know.

This is a work in progress; all of our family information has not been input yet, but I will continually add data as I receive it. I am happy to share any of my information with other family members or interested parties, however, please do not take information/pictures away from here, (without permission) if your intention is to publish etc. for profit. I am doing this for my children, so they know "who their ancestors were".

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
