These are the main surnames I am researching:
BRINSON:This family migrated from Craven County NC to Tattnall County Ga. They moved to Randolph County before settling in Thomas County, Ga. Allied families include CARTER, GODWIN, KIERCE, MALOY, MERRITT, POLLOCK and SASSER. Other counties are Decatur, Grady and Mitchell. DAVIS: This branch is descended from Joseph Davis of NC. They migrated to Wilkinson,Monroe and Meriwether Counties in Ga then to Tallapoosa County, AL. They finally settled in Shelby County, AL. Allied families include: ARCHER, ARANT, CUSHING, REEVES and VENTERS/VENTRISS. HALE: I am researching descendants of Richard Hale and his son, Robert, who lived in Chattooga County, GA in 1860, 1870, and 1880. Richard was born in Tennessee in 1820. Related families include BUSH and EDMONSON. PITTS: I am researching the Pitts in South Central Georgia in the Telfair, Pulaski and Dodge County areas. Allied families include: ANDERSON, BURKHALTER and DRIGGERS. A special thanks to all of those who have contributed material over the years. If you have any questions, corrections, or photographs of related persons, please feel free to email me!

I try to make sure that all information is accurate, but mistakes do happen. Please be sure to verify information yourself. I have put alot of time into my research and don't mind sharing names and dates, but please do not copy my original narrative texts found in the notes section of individuals.

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
