Please sign in to see more.
Hello, my name is JUDY LIDGARD. I am a U S LIDGARD Family member. Thank you for visiting my site. I am a Mayflower direct descendant of Captain Myles Standish of the Mayflower.
The U S Lidgard family began in Old Clee Lincolnshire England with Thomas Lidgard early 1700. Solomon Lidgard son of Thomas, married Ann Wrack in Humberston Eng. Thomas born 1771 married Elizabeth Jackson, and had 3 children, Mary, Ann and Charlotte. Elizabeth died in 1805. Then Thomas married Elizabeth Wallis 1806 and had 10 more children in Bishop Norton. Three sons Solomon, William and Johnson came to America in the early 1830's. Solomon married Mary Ann Hatfield who had also newly arrived from England with her father Henry Hatfield Jr.. Solomon and Mary Ann had 12 children, one who was Charles Lidgard. Charles married Mary Rhinehart and they had 9 children including a son named Ulysses Solomon (U.S.) Lidgard. Ulysses married Jennie Evelyn Burkholder and had two children William born 1897, and Harry Octavus born 1899. William died around 1902. I began searching for my father Harry Octavus Lidgard family and found his father was U.S. Lidgard, son of Charles Lidgard. From there the U S Lidgard family came to life. I found descendants of Solomon, William, and Johnson Lidgard searching for the U S Lidgard family. I now have found the Lidgard family in England. Sharing all my new wealth with my sister Julene and my family was very rewarding. This led me to England and I was able to find all the Lidgard children of Thomas and both wives. All this led to searching and completing my other family lines Standish, Meacham, White, Privett. (The U S Lidgard family is also spelled Lidget only in early Lincolnshire England. U S Lidgard family came directly from Lincolnshire England to America, and settled in Ohio, then Illinois and Pulaski County Indiana. This is the U S Lidgard family who began with Solomon, William, and Johnson Lidgard.
I also searched for my other family lines. I am the great great great granddaughter of Abraham Meacham and Lydia Standish. I have enjoyed researching, finding all our precious family from the past. We begin with Miles Standish who came on the Mayflower, and Jeremiah Meacham. Here are all our Allied Families. I hope you enjoy searching for your family as much as we have and find a pot of Golden Relations at the end of the rainbow. Be sure to search Findagrave for our loved ones departed. I wish to thank Suzanne Fisher for her help. Without it, this site would not have been possible. Her endless hours of research and support in the beginning was priceless. Research for this site including a large collection of old family photos was done by Judy Lidgard. Please email me for documents, birth and death records, old family photos, Parish records and grave markers from Lincolnshire England, and the Hatfield and Norwood families in Lincolnshire England. Records of the early White family in Mass 1600. Documents and records of William White, Ona White, and Haven White. The Privett family photos and documents.
