can anyone tell me what a security code is. I have full access to the Greenhow Hill pages but I have discovered my data, which I submitted many years ago has been credited to someone else, and what's more is now incorrect. I can find no way to contact anyone without a security code and I don't know what that is.

Hi Les. Go to my tree and click on send message in the "welcome" paragraph and you will see what David is getting at. I have tried it in your tree. Not possible to send a message.

Tribalpages need to fix this.

Hi Alan, I only gave instructions as we all knew it, and expected a CAPTCHA. to be there.

I know what David means, and have previously checked to see this.

As always Tribal Pages Support alter their program, amd expect Members to find their error, also have pointed out that their programmers do not seem to be the best , and not always up to the task.

If they cannot do anything, they just close their eyes, to it, and let Members get frustrated, with constantly asking

All the best

Les.

Do I ever see anything in forum. ?

Well, I gave up looking at "forum announcements" years ago. Actually about two weeks ago there was a message, not in forum, that asked if I want to be advised of updates etc. or something to this effect. I cannot remember the exact wording. I clicked "yes". Maybe its on the way.

Please don't answer or comment on that. I will not reply.

Alan you took this literally.so justifies a reply

It was a simple question, asking if TRIBAL SUPPORT ever puts anything in here.

About 6 months ago ( Maybe Longer)they cleaned this whole part of FORUM and left it empty

We have fixed the CAPTCHA Image (contains security code) in the "Contact Site Administrator" form. The glitch was due to our recent updates to make Tribalpages entirely SSL (https)

Thank you Tribal Support, but I was quite happy with TP before the htpps.

Could not understand the reasoning behind it, when all our sites are so open anyway.

Made a lot of work for me having to find the SSL on IE Tools, and now have to say if I want to VIEW the Internet in htpps or not.

There are a few items in your TP program that needed to be seen too, before ever playing about with htpps.

Thanks anyway

Regards

Les
